The United States of America announced today the death of the militant Al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. The outcome of a news cycle of 10 years of contradictions, lies and misinformation, where the head of al-Qaeda had been given up for dead several times for non-US sources. This time the ad, although done by the official pronouncement of the President of the United States, raises controversial and requires caution because of highly suspect photo released by the dead terrorist news agencies
The operation of U.S. Navy special forces have surrounded the house where bin Laden lived in recent years in the town of Abbotabad, near Islamabad, Pakistan's capital, and killed the "most wanted terrorist in the world" on Sunday night, hours of Brazil (fifth).
Fortress in which Osama bin Laden was killed in Abbotabad, Pakistan
statesmen and press around the world, despite historical controversies that always involved the so-called "War on Terror" American, rushed to support the U.S. government. Also do not forget to say that the death of Bin Laden is not the end of terrorism as required, and the CIA has tried to announce that Al-Quaeda "almost certainly" will want revenge.
The only evidence we have of this operation which allegedly killed Bin Laden is an unconvincing picture, which is already being challenged in much of the world. First published by the Associated Press, then on various television channels around the world, including the network Globo. In it, bin Laden, who already had 54 years of age, his beard appears dark at the time it came to be known figure in the world 10 years ago. Also the picture is amazingly similar to another picture of bin Laden. Compare:
We know the fantastic effect in the West that this news has on the popularity of the United States and its president Barack Obama. But I believe it is too early to accept the news of the death of bin Laden by the U.S. Navy as true. Until evidence appear real and convincing the operation, this may be one of those false cases that end up in Congress. In terms of the politics of American propaganda, which has forged many lies as weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, all caution and distrust are fully justifiable.
