° The Chronicles of Narnia

Good afternoon people! Today I will talk about a series of children who had more success inside and outside the public is the Chronicles of Narnia written by CS Lewis between 1949 and 1954.

I started reading "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" I think Tuesday of last week, the books are great (minus one)! If you do not come in reading, you will be amazed by The Chronicles of Narnia, the seven books are small (the smallest is 150 pages and the largest 232) and well summarized.

1 Nephew Magician's - describes the creation of Narnia and how did the wardrobe, and show the first humans to travel to Earth Magic.

2 The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - What everyone knows right? That the four Pevensie children go to Narnia to fulfill his prophecy and blah blah blah ...

3 The Horse and His Boy - The worst book in the series, about a boy who lives in Calormen neighboring country of Narnia, who wants to escape with a horse, the story is set in the "Golden Age" when the Pevensie siblings are kings and queens of Narnia.

4 The Prince Caspian - narrates the return of the Pevensie siblings to Narnia, 1300 years have passed, and how Prince Caspian became king of the country. This is the 2nd one I liked, I read in a day.

5 The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - Anyone who watched the movie knows how, the Voyage of the ship "Pilgrim Alvarado" in search of the seven kings friends Caspian's father is also 10! I finished today.

6 The Silver Chair - narrates the return to Narnia to Eustace, who along with her cousin Jill, Tirian tries to find the lost son of Caspian, who is now elderly.

7 The Last Battle - The final book in the series, recounts the last battle against the Calormenes of Narnia, a fight against good and evil, who will have Eustace and Jill, with Prince Tirian.

Come on Wikipedia it has more plot, and best of all, a resumão all this back in the series, references to Christianity, racism, modernity, the inspiration of the author. Yeah, until next post.
